This original Art Deco pocket watch is finely crafted in buttery 14k yellow gold. The front outer bezel, as well as the whole rear of the watch is finished in Gutta Percha. Gutta Percha is a durable material that was developed in the Victorian period when Jet was becoming popular. It is manufactured and molded from the sap of Palaquium trees and takes on a beautiful matte black color. The dial is perfect and original, with the hand applied numerals crisp and legible. It features a 15 jewel manual wind movement manufactured by Fayet Swill and stamped 14k on its inner case-back. It comes with a period Victorian long chain, which measures 28. The watch itself measures: 1 in diameter by 3/8 thick.
