Vintage Mine Cut Halo Diamond Engagement Ring in Yellow Gold.  This fine antique engagement ring features a .48 carat Old Mine cut diamond set in 14 karat yellow gold. The ring was made in the Victorian Era when diamond halos were commonly made with larger diamonds than are common for a modern halo. The center stone is set high above the halo and the entire center section sits above a beautiful crown basket. A very beautiful example of Victorian design and craftsmanship.
